- Introduction
As part of our commitment to supporting player development and performance, Performance Goal C.I.C. may collect and analyse data from participants in our programs. This policy outlines how data is used, shared, and protected, and the terms under which individuals participate.
- Purpose of Data Collection
Data collected may include, but is not limited to:
- Physical metrics (e.g., height, weight, age)
- Performance indicators and outcomes
- Self-reported or observational data
This data is used for:
- Delivering personalised performance feedback and recommendations
- Monitoring progress and engagement
- Contributing to academic and applied research to enhance program effectiveness
- Data Usage and Sharing
- All shared data will be anonymised before being disclosed externally. However, anonymised data may still include general demographic details such as height, weight, and age.
- Anonymised data may be shared with:
- Academic institutions (e.g., universities)
- Accredited students or researchers
- Partner organisations conducting aligned research
Performance Goal C.I.C will take all reasonable steps to ensure that any shared data cannot be used to personally identify individuals.
- Disclaimer and Advisory Nature of Information
All advice, insights, and recommendations provided through our programs are advisory only and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or developmental guidance.
Participants are encouraged to:
- Seek independent professional advice where appropriate.
- Refrain from following any advice they believe may negatively affect their health, wellbeing, or development.
- Discontinue participation in the program if they are uncertain or disagree with any aspect of the advice provided.
- Right to Withdraw
Participants have the right to withdraw from any program at any time.
We ask that participants provide 14 days’ written notice if they choose to withdraw, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Consent and Agreement
By participating in the program and ticking the acceptance box on our website or application form, individuals confirm the following:
“I hereby confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms set out in the Research and Data Collection Policy. I understand that all information provided is advisory in nature and I take full responsibility for seeking independent advice if needed. I agree to the collection and anonymised use of my data for research and performance development purposes and acknowledge my right to withdraw from the program with 14 days’ notice.”
- Protection of Performance Goal C.I.C
This policy and all programs offered are the intellectual property of Performance Goal C.I.C. All data handling processes comply with applicable data protection regulations, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Performance Goal C.I.C. shall not be liable for any decisions made by individuals based on advice given, where independent professional advice has not been sought.
